SnapPilot ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

What data the Chrome extension stores locally

The SnapPilot Chrome extension stores the following data only on your device using Chrome's local IndexedDB:

Screenshots and recordings you capture
Browser flows you record (steps, screenshots, notes)
Your auth token for the SnapPilot account (if logged in)

We do not upload your screenshots, recordings, or flow contents to our servers unless you explicitly use a sharing feature.

What data we store on our servers

When you create a SnapPilot account or subscribe to Pro, we store:

Your email address, name, and country
A hashed (bcrypt) password — we never store plain text passwords
Subscription plan, billing cycle, and subscription status
Active flow count (number only, not content)
License check timestamps (extension version, date)

Payment data

We do not store your credit card, bank, or UPI details. All payment processing is handled by:

Razorpay for Indian customers — subject to Razorpay's Privacy Policy
PayPal for international customers — subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy

We receive webhook notifications from these providers to confirm subscription status, but do not receive or store raw card data.

Cookies and sessions

We use a single HTTP-only cookie to maintain your login session on the website. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Third-party services

The extension uses Tesseract.js for OCR processing — this runs entirely in your browser and no image data is sent to external servers.

Data retention

You can delete your account at any time by contacting contact@mashtrixx.com. We will delete your account data within 30 days of the request.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
